SOCIAL ACTIVITY

The activities and methods of Aukstata are based on public interest. We believe that social responsibility should be the foundation of values and goals of every respectable company. We clearly see the benefits of communal cooperation; therefore, as a social enterprise, we strive to reduce social exclusion in our daily activities.

Today, at least 50% of our employed team members belong to target groups of people with disabilities who have a 30-40% or 45-55% working capacity level. We prepare integration plans on a regular basis to assess the needs and prospects of these employees and provide them with opportunities for the development of their social skills and qualifications. We aim to hire at least one new employee belonging to a target group of people each year, and we continue to apply social inclusion measures to these people on a regular basis.

Aukstata strives to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities in the labor market, meet their special needs, as well as ensure their employment, education and equal opportunities in public life. The company cooperates with its social partners and uses its own resources as well as those provided by the state to carry out this vision.
